2020 Award Winner

Jill Maschmeier

Jill started at National Carriers, Inc. at 40 with no trucking industry experience. She came to the company after 20 years as a buyer for an oil company with the needed skills and expertise to help drive the company forward. Through collaboration with her entire team, she helped turn National Carriers into an industry leader. Jill is grateful for all those who work tirelessly around the clock to ensure our freight is delivered safe and secure.  During her time at National Carriers she has been given several opportunities to highlight the company’s safety culture and their true heart.  She was a speaker at the Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit - Best Practices and Industry & Law Enforcement Partnerships last year and was chosen as the Kansas Motor Carrier Association’s 2016 Safety Professional of the Year. Now, she is the 2020 TCA Safety Professional of the Year - Clare C. Casey Safety Award recipient. Outside of work she of loves being with her family and rooting for the underdog.
