Michael Lasko

Safety Manager, Boyle Transportation
Michael Lasko has been working in transportation for over 19 years. He began his career as a professional driver before moving into operations and safety management. Michael joined Boyle Transportation as the Manager of Safety and Quality in 2015. Michael led Boyle's safety program to national recognition in 2017 by winning the Truckload Carriers Association's Fleet Safety Grand Prize.  
In 2018, Michael was the winner of the Heavy Duty Trucking Magazine Safety and Compliance Award. During his time at Boyle, the company has been recognized as one of the 20 Best Fleets to Drive For six consecutive years, and this year was named The Best Fleet Overall for the Small Carrier Division. Prior to joining Boyle, he was the Safety Manager for New Penn Motor Express and previously worked for Panera Bread as the northeast Distribution Manager and was the Chairman of Panera Bread's Transportation Safety Committee. Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bristol College and also attended Bryant University.    

Lucas Mowrey

Safety Director, Grand Island Express
Lucas started in the industry 16 years ago as an OTR Driver and then began driving for Grand Island Express in 2007. In 2013, he moved into the office as Safety Director. He has recieved awards for his role: Nebraska’s Fleet Safety Grand Champion in 2016, Nebraska Safety Director of the Year in 2016, TCA Fleet Safety Grand Champion for under 25 Million miles in 2018 and became a Certified Director of Safety in December of 2018 . Mowrey joined the Nebraska Safety Management Committee in 2014 and was the Chair in 2016.
